UA’s Console application is the key to unlocking Apollo and Arrow's unique Realtime UAD Processing capabilities. It enables you to insert and control UAD plug-ins as well as route and monitor audio. This three-part video series takes you through Console 2.0 software and shows you how to get the most out of your UA Audio Interface.
This tutorial teaches you the basic set up, functionality, and general navigation of Console 2.0: the simple, yet powerful control software for your Apollo system. Gannon demonstrates how Console 2.0 interacts with your host computer and DAW, and shows you what settings are best for each one. Note that monitoring through Console 2.0 gives you the lowest possible latency, no matter what workspace you are using.
Understand the workflow of the channel strips, which are intuitively modeled after classic analog styles. Flowing from top to bottom from the channel strip, see how to adjust inputs, inserts, sends, routing, pan, levels, solo and mute. Get a quick overview of the monitor controls, so you can operate the outputs as well as how to change which elements of Console you wish to see using the view window.
Finally, Gannon teaches you how to record with UAD Processing and operate presets. This is so you can quickly and easily get your desired sound for any track with plug-in presets designed by top-tier audio engineers and producers. Most importantly, Gannon covers how to save your work so you can retrieve Console setups you have created whenever you want.
