Indian rickshaw driver takes me on a "Tutan" tour in Delhi 🇮🇳

Support the channel and buy my ultimate Desi Delhi food guide here: https://maxmcfarlin.gumroad.com/l/24h... 🇮🇳 After having a delicious $0.00 feast of Kadhi Chawal and Rajma Chawal way out in East Delhi's Geeta Colony, the man who first greeted me when I walked up to the shop, Deepak, invited me across the street to enjoy a drink with him. He was super excited and happy to have me in his shop. I could feel the genuineness coming from him. He kept telling me how welcome I was and how happy I was making his day. I could really feel what he was saying was true. It's incredible the kind of nice people you meet here in India, especially farther out of the city.

After enjoying a drink with Deepak, it was nearly 12pm, so I had to catch a rickshaw in order to get over to the metro and get a metro back to my hotel, which I was already sure to be late for checkout. In the outskirts of Delhi there aren't as many private rickshaws as there are communal rickshaw, which require 3-4 people in order to start the journey. I found one rickshaw and hopped on, and asked the driver how much for just me to go by myself. We agreed on ₹70 and took off.

This rickshaw ride turned out to be one of the most fun of my life. The 23 year old driver was a real character. He kept using the basic English he knew to show me around his neighborhood, pointing out everything from fresh vegetables to tutans to electric offices. He was such a nice man working hard at a young age. If you happen to come out to East Delhi and see him, give him my thanks and regards.
