{Extreme Thrash} HA13 gets floored to its limits on its first day operating Superloop Route SL1

The SL1 is London’s newest Superloop addition and runs between North Finchley and Walthamstow Central via the A406 North Circular Road using existing HAs from Route 78. It’s stopping equivalents are Route 221 from Finchley to New Southgate, and then Route 34 the whole way down to Walthamstow.

On its first day, this driver absolutely put this particular E400H City to its limits and maxed it out as he sailed along the A406, he was overtaking and outpacing cars and swerving in and out of lanes - nothing but a top tier run! He was 13 minutes early when we got to Walthamstow and 6 minutes early back at AD! This was filmed on his last half run before his break or sign off so it was expected!! (Annoyed with the fact he had to changeover at Palmers Green but we move)

The SL1 is definitely up there being one of the best Superloop routes. It’s also nice and quick because drivers can do 45-50mph for pretty much 3/4 of its route and you can get from North Finchley to Walthamstow within 35-40 minutes if A406 traffic doesn’t stiff you up!
