امن بانګ د ښائیستونو د جمات دی
Peace is the call of the beauties
ولې قات د پښتنو په مضافات دی
But it runs short for the Pashtuns
امن څه دی خو قبله د سل بتانو
What is peace, but a mecca of a hundred idols?
سجده رېز پکې هر بُت د سومنات دی
Where all idols bow down to the major evil
امن نوم د داسې جنګ دی چې په مونږ دی
Peace is but a war declared on us
په اشر مرمه که ګټه که باېلات دی
I die in droves, in both win and in loss
امن څه دی د پښتون د سر نشتوالې
What is peace? The death of the Pashtuns
امن ژوند غواړي بس دغه یې نجات دی
Peace is going after life
امن زور د زورورو دی دیداره
Peace is in the clutches of the powers that be
زور د برخې چا موندلې په خېرات دی
And it is not given away, like power is not given away


د ژوند نغمه د وخت په نوي ساز پورته کؤمه
For life, I raise a new melody
اواز پورته کؤمه
I raise a new melody
پښتونه ستا د درد قیصه په ناز پورته کؤمه
O Pashtun, of your pain I convey the stories

راوړی د لمبې نه مې تصویر د کلي کور دی
From the flames, I caught onto a picture of my home and village
پوکلی مې ترې اور دی
And I've blown the flame away from it
نړۍ ته مې ښودلی دغه نیم سوی انځور دی
And to the world, I've shown this half-burned picture
دا ځکه دومره شور دی
And that's why there is noise
تیارې تیارې پردې د هر یو راز پورته کؤمه
Raising I am all the dark curtains from the atrocities

د جنګ خونړي کور له به د امن دروازې وړم
To the bloodied house of war, I will bring the door of peace
واپس به ترې نېزې وړم
And I will take away its arrows
وحشته لېونی نه یم چې نورې جنازې وړم
O barbarianism, I am not crazy to continue picking up caskets
د غېرو ملازې وړم
And carry their heads
دا خپل پرېوتی ژوند لکه اعزاز پورته کؤمه
My fallen life, I will pick you up with pride

ژوندی نه وم ژوندی شومه بې لارې وم په لار شوم

له خوبه رابېدار شوم
From sleep, I have awoken
پښتون ومه د بل په تور سنګسار شومه په دار شوم
A Pashtun, I was killed and stoned for crimes other committed
ناپوهه وم هوښیار شوم
Naive I was, and smart I have become
د ګونګو ژبو غږ په بل انداز پورته کؤمه
The voice of the silenced mouths, I raise

د ظلم سیلۍ ویستي دي څانګونه له کونترې
The winds of oppression have withered the dove's wings
اوس تلی نه شي تر لرې
Now, the dove, unable to travel far
چې یوسي په هر لوري دا پرې پرې وزرې
Cannot show the world her injured wings
سلګۍ سلګۍ سندرې
With her painful songs
دیداره اوس به امن له خپل باز پورته کؤمه
O Didar, for peace, I will raise my falcon instead this time
