YSL Defense Makes Funny Reference to 'Gladys Knight & the Pips' in Song Lyrics Battle

On Wednesday, the state and the defense continued court in the YSL RICO trial without the jury present. The courtroom discussed the state's use of song lyrics in the trial. During the debate, defense attorney Bruce Harvey, who is the lawyer for Quamarvious Nichols, made a reference to Gladys Knight and the Pips.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
