Dear Brothers and Sisters, SAI RAM!

We are pleased to welcome Prof. B. Sai Giridhar to the 154th edition of Samarpan at Brindavan. Prof. Sai Giridhar hails from the city of Mangalore and was a Bal Vikas student during his schooling. He was born to the reputed tile manufacturer Sri. B. Devaraj and Smt. Kalyani Devaraj. His parents had the Divine blessings of seeing and interacting with Bhagawan in the year 1960. Bhagawan Himself named him as Sai Giridhar when he was 2 months old. He was blessed to be a student of the first batch of the B. Com. course at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) in 1982.

Prof. Sai Giridhar then went on to complete M. Com. in 1987 during which he was awarded the All Rounder Gold Medal by Bhagawan in 1986. He was also part of the Institute Brass Band which was formed during the 60th Birthday celebrations of our beloved Swami in the year 1985. Besides this, he was also awarded as the Athletic Champion of Swami’s University in 1987. Amidst this spate of several achievements, he went on to complete his Ph.D. in 1993. Post his doctorate degree, Bhagawan handpicked him as a faculty member in the Department of Commerce at the Brindavan campus of SSSIHL. Prof. Sai Giridhar has held several senior positions at SSSIHL, namely, Deputy Director of the Prasanthi Nilayam campus, HoD of Dept. of Management and Commerce, Registrar and Acting Vice-Chancellor.

During a personal interview, Swami told him, "Gain one mother’s love and you will be eligible for a thousand mothers’ love." Let us join with our family and friends for this month’s satsang session as the speaker recounts from his treasure trove of wonderful personal experiences with Bhagawan and lessons learnt at the Divine Lotus Feet of our beloved Swami.
