"Ajoomma" to be Singapore's entry for Best International Feature Film at Oscars 2023

Singapore's entry for the Oscars is the highly anticipated debut feature film called "Ajoomma". It is now in the running to be Singapore's first nomination for the Best International Feature Film. A first-ever Singapore-South Korea co-production, the film follows a middle-aged widow's obsession with Korean pop culture and her journey to self-discovery after getting lost in Seoul while on holiday. Director He Shuming and lead actress Hong Hui Fang shared more about the production.
