I Caught A MONSTER!! Euro Nymphing For Big Hungry Trout - Fly FIshing Pennsylvania

Visiting the same spot I visited quite a bit earlier in the summer but have taken a break from. Now I returned, as summer is ending and the water temps decreasing to slay some active hungry trout. I was surprised to catch an absolute unit of a rainbow and a bunch of nice stocked and wild browns along with it. Usually, the summer season here in PA is slow but this summer I've done really well. As long as hot afternoons have been warming waters around the country, trout have been forced to find cooler water that allows them to thrive with their unique tolerance range. Waters in the Poconos are no exception as recently finding cooler water has proven challenging. Nevertheless, I recently found a spot where cooler water meets with a bigger river. I have been gifted with some outstanding fishing conditions and huge fish at the confluence of these two bodies of water. The fish are aggressive and very opportunistic here and I have a blast catching them throughout this video. This video shows two days of fishing during the same week in mid-July.
