My response: please customize to you.

To whom it may concern;
First of all thank you all for your continued work to keep the skies over America safe as you have since your inception. I am a Cardiac Nurse and father of two (2) small boys 7 and 5 years old. During the divorce from their mother, Model Aviation became a saving grace for me during a difficult time in my life psychologically as I was rebuilding a life now as a single father. Most notably (FPV) Multirotor, aka, Freestyle and Cinematic. More importantly, my children have shown immense interest in the building and engineering aspects of this hobby (Home built). My oldest son has asked more times than I can count about the STEM/STEAM programs at his school due to my involvement in the FPV community. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE MY RIGHTS!

My responses to the current plan:
⦁ RF Broadcast Remote ID is sufficient to satisfy Standard Remote ID.
⦁ Remote ID information CAN NOT be available to the general public as this creates a privacy and safety issue for the operator.
⦁ Information can only be available to the FAA and Law Enforcement on an as needed and warranted basis.
⦁ Non-Equipped Remote ID UAS are able to fly in Class G airspace freely, and within Controlled Airspace via Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC). This system simply works! and will garner compliance instead of pushing the culture "underground."
⦁ Recreational registration will continue to be pilot only. Put all the responsibility on the Remote Pilot In Command (RPIC). Delete all OEM manufacturer requirements from the rule.
⦁ Elimination of build restrictions for Amateur-Built UAS. UAS are not required to come from an FAA Approved Producer to adhere to Remote ID.
⦁ Standard Remote ID can easily be satisfied with an add on component or module that can come from an FAA Approved Producer with it’s own burned in serial number that can be registered and RF Broadcasts the required information.
⦁ Amateur-Built UAS are able to add that component to their UAS to comply with Standard Remote ID and component is able to be transferred from one UAS to another.
⦁ Elimination of FAA-Recognized Identification Area (FRIA) provisions. When Non-Equipped Remote ID UAS are able to fly freely, there is no need for the FAA to identify FRIA’s as the concept will be obsolete.
⦁ Add a provision for shielded operations. in association with LAANC system.
⦁ Increase the FAA Registration weight limit from 250 grams to 1 kilogram. France has 2kg limit, and Canada?... Over 1kg, BVLOS, and autonomous, meeting all 3 of these should be the only requirements to Remote ID, period!

Regulating technologies based on the potential for misuse is unprecedented in our nation and has no place in the adoption of unmanned systems. The corporate Drone systems that are on the horizon are the only ones that should have to comply with these measures as they need to be held accountable.
I request as many others have the "Detailed Risk Assessment" that should have been done for this proposal. I would like the FAA to do more public "Town Hall" style meeting to allow the general public to voice their opinions as I don't believe that average citizens even realize this proposal has even been made.
In 100 years of model aviation there have been so few fatalities that you cannot even find them on a google search. Please see the George Mason University study of bird vs. drone impacts. (file uploaded)
Thank you (FAA) for what you do and I hope you will respect my freedom to do what I do.

Sincerely,

John Hutchinson - Concerned Hobbyist
