And now, for your listening pleasure, Miss Judy Garland will sing the Theme From Mondo Cane. Incidentally, this is a perfect example of what a brilliant singing actress Judy could be. Despite the fact that this was one of the most popular songs of the early to mid 1960's, Judy utterly detested it, but you would never know it based on this performance. Garland's interpretation of the lyric seems sincere and heartfelt, and she sings the hell out of the tune. But then again, she was "The World's Greatest Entertainer" after all. So do we ever expect less than greatness from her?
