I'm going to share with you which investments I have in my Barclays Smart Investment ISA. I have notices the video review I made on Barclays Smart Investor is still getting a few daily views so I thought it would be helpful to share exactly which funds, trusts, and ETF's Im currently holding in my Smart Investor Investment ISA.
I opened this ISA around three years ago and started to invest small amount and as I learnt more starting to invest more and I now have a few thousand pounds invested in this ISA. My husband also has a Barclays Smart Investor ISA, but for today's video I'll be focusing on the investments within my ISA, to be honest there's quite a lot of crossover with our investments anyway.
Although I do buy individual stocks and shares outside of my ISA I prefer to invest in actively managed funds, trusts and ETF's in my Barclays Smart Investor Investment ISA rather than individual stocks and shares. Barclays Smart Investor has thousands of funds trusts and ETF's available so I do understand that it can be quite overwhelming trying to choose which investments to make.
In this video I will be sharing with you a complete breakdown of the funds, trusts and ETF's which I currently have in my portfolio. At the moment my Barclays Smart Investor ISA is showing as being 23.4% up in the last year.
I will timestamp this video into Funds, ETF's then Trusts as some people may be more interested in specific classes of investments. Within these titles I will then list each investment starting with the highest percentage of my portfolio all the way down to the lowest and also let you know the percentage gain it's currently showing as. If you would like more detail on any of these specific funds, trusts or ETF's then please do let me know and I can do a separate video, which has a little more detail. The information I'll include will be my percentage returns so far and top 3 holdings. The historic annualised returns are particularly high for the majority of these investments, generally between 15%- a whopping 38.72% 3 yr annualised return, which the Baillie Gifford American fund achieved. Past returns are not indicative of future returns so please do your own research too.
As you will see this portfolio is mainly made up of global fund or pacific or US sectors. I do have some UK and European Sector investments outside of this ISA to diversify somewhat.
