Emergency Cartridge Removal for a Canon Maxify IB4050, MB2020, MB2320, MB5020, MB5320, iB4020

In this video we look at a technique to remove cartridges from a Canon Maxify IB4050, MB2020, MB2150, MB2320, MB5020, MB5320, iB4020 even if the machine hasn't prompted you that a cartridge needs removal.

Disclaimer: this technique of removing cartridges is NOT recommended by Canon and should only be used when ABSOLUTELY necessary due to a faulty cartridge.

We have personally used this method for removing cartridges due to a machine getting printer error "B504". This error appears when the printer cannot detect ink and prevents printing to protect the printhead.

The machine used is the Canon Maxify iB4050 but the process is the same for MB2020, MB2150, MB2320, MB5020, MB5320 and the entire iB4000 series (including the iB4020).
