Taco Dip Appetizer

Ingredients:
1 lb. Ground beef ( I used 93% lean 7% fat)
2 oz packs Taco seasoning
2/3 cups water
1 and 1/2 cups shredded lettuce
1/2 cup tomatoes diced
1 cup white cheddar cheese
8 oz whipped cream cheese room temperature
1 - 16 oz. jar salsa
1/2 to 1 cup sour cream

Recipe:
Cook your ground beef till it's browned. Then mix your 2 oz packages of taco seasoning into the ground beef mix it well. Add your 2/3 cup of water. Mix it well and let it saute for 5 minutes and then set aside. Shred your lettuce and dice your tomatoes and shred your cheese. Then take your container of whipped cream cheese and your salsa mix it very well. Then start layering the dip on your plate. Ground beef and then your salsa and whipped cream cheese mixture. Then add your sour cream, which is optional, some people do not like sour cream. Then add some of your shredded cheese on top then your lettuce tomatoes and the rest of your cheese. You can eat this dip with your favorite tortilla chips. It's great for an appetizer, a barbecue etc.
