Jagannath, you are like a blue mountain. You are like a wild elephant. Please take
away my sorrow, like an elephant crushes a lotus and throws it away. Once an
elephant was caught by a crocodile in the water. You listened to his prayer and
saved him by killing the crocodile with your Chakra.

wife. Droupadi was dragged to the court and Dusasana disrobed her in the court.
But you protected her sanctity by giving her tons of clothes.

Hiranyakasyapu tried to test your presence in the pillar. You emerged in
the forn of half liorn and tore him into pieces. Thus saved the world from his
tyranny. The poet humble offering this prayer at the lotus feet of Lord Jagannath.
