Preemie Day 5km Fun Walk
This is the foundation's signature event. An annual gathering aimed at raising awareness about premature birth. Preemie families and friends are invited to join the walk during (November) Prematurity Awareness Month in Mankweng - Limpopo Province and Johannesburg - Gauteng Province. The purpose of this event is to educate communities about our journey and how they can support families with preemies. We encourage families to bring along their preemies from 6 months old, just don't forget their stroller

Participants will have the opportunity to connect with others who have shared similar experiences, fostering a sense of community and mutual support. The event will feature informational booths, guest speakers, and interactive activities designed to highlight the challenges and triumphs of premature birth. By participating in the walk, attendees will not only raise awareness but also contribute to the foundation's ongoing efforts to provide resources, support and advocacy for preemie families. Join us for a day of solidarity, education and inspiration as we walk together to make a difference in the lives of those affected by premature birth.

Get ready, Limpopo!
For the very first time, the 2024 Preemie Family Fun Walk will also be hosted in Mankweng, Limpopo province 🥳 The past two years has been hosted in Gauteng and this year, will be including Limpopo in the walk. The community of Mankweng will join hands with the organisation and paint the streets of Turfloop purple on the 9th November 2024.
