Steam plant (Sustainable cooling through steam driven Absorption chiller)

We at Thermax believe in sustainable, environment friendly solutions. We demonstrate the same at our own campus. Our office building is air-conditioned with the help of biomass fired steam boiler which runs the triple absorption chiller.

Triple absorption chiller runs on 100% biomass fired ComBloc boiler which delivers steam at the output. This entire process is automated with no manual intervention required. The biomass based solid fuel is fed to the boiler with the help of completely automated moving floor, screw conveyor and the bucket elevator.

Automated submerged ash conveyor for ash handling makes it very clean system. The steam generated from ComBloc runs the chiller. The exhaust from boiler passes through HRU (heat recovery unit) and exhaust passes through bag filter ensuring minimum air pollution.
