Hey There! Some time ago, I came across some videos known as the "CPS2 Originals", which are basically [mostly] custom themes made for fictional characters, including, but not limited to characters from various Video Game and Comic Book characters (like those from Marvel and DC and the Street Fighter series). And Having recently acquired the CPS2 sound pack of "Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo", the link to which was provided by McQueen8601, I thought I'd give it a shot to compose a theme for someone that no one, NO ONE, has done yet... Shan Yu, leader of the Huns in Disney's "Mulan", and one of the most recognizable Disney Villains. Why? Because, as I would put it, he's like, the Batman of Disney Villains (on account of his intelligence, his cool sword, his Falcon, being a strategist, and being mostly realistic, not to mention he does NOT underestimate women). This is one of my first CPS2 Original Themes that I've done, with some nods to Shan Yu's overall musical theme, including the music piece that plays when Shan Yu and five of his best men rise from the snow [in the intro]. This video is also a tribute to the late Jerry Goldsmith, who composed the music for "Mulan" as well as other films including "The Secret of N.I.M.H.", "U.S. Marshalls", and "The Ghosts in the Darkness". The emphasis in this video is the music itself. Enjoy!
