With the glass off, I go over the rules for Star Race.

Key take-aways:

Top rollovers all light 2 distinct playfield inserts for advancing the multiplier.
There are Yellow and Green multipliers, you need one of each to advance
Rollover #1 - Yellow multipliers are located on the left outlane, and kickout hole.
Rollover #2 - Yellow multiplier on the left inlane and drop target bank collect
Rollover #3 - Green right inlane and drop target bank
Rollover #4 - Green right outlane and kickout hole
In addition, a yellow multiplier may be advanced by a clockwise loop shot, and a green multiplier may be advanced via a counter-clockwise loop shot.

Various bonus increases around the playfield, the left when lit white lights on the first loop shot, subsequent shots light the right side, and unlight the left side.

Engaging all 4 top rollovers will light the extra ball opportunity from the drop targets, however on the next ball, the bonus multiplier advance lamps will be off, and the top rollovers will need to be collected again to re-light them.

After making 2 loop shots, the extra ball may be collected by completed the drop targets near the loop

Completing either vari-target with each letter spotted will achieve an immediate extra ball

Only one extra ball may be obtained per ball in play (no stacking)

When the 20k lamp is lit, the kickout will also light collect bonus, where this may be collected, afterwhioch the player may begin to advance the bonus again
