Are you interested in learning how to write a song? Well look no further!! My background as a songwriter and a teacher is the flawless amalgamation of delivering textbook tune transcribing in a way that everypo- everybody can enjoy and learn from!!

In this course you will learn how to write lyrics, sing a catchy tune, get a vague idea of chord structure, giggle at stupidity, and really dive deep into the mind of a songwriter. You can expect images to flashbang and confuse you and really engage those critical thinking muscles.

Sometimes when I find myself trying to write a song
Gotta make sure its catchy and that it doesn't run too long
Mix some chords convince yourself you know how to play guitar
Then convince everyone else that you're a f****g star

Wow this song got energized much quicker than I thought
Piled on 12 instruments and turned it up a lot
You're allowed to repeat chords, or change em' throughout the song
The chorus is the part where you get mocked if you sing it wrong

Starting with the 1 do the classic up right up to the 4, keep it high on the 5 then take the energy home. Bounce around the 4 rock it back and forth then go (woah)
Give the song a new riff try the one that everyone knows easy
Get a whiff of nostalgia but you know its cheesy
Remind them of the catchy part where we all said (woah)

Lyrics can be meaningless just splatter out the lexicon
look around and double check the crowd is not yet gone
What is a diminished chord I don't know how they work
before you learn to play the drums you can play the soundboard first

Bring it back around once again with some newish words
You can use the same ones or treat it like a verse
run with whatever's popular cuz it works then go (woah)
You're doing all the same shit taking chord progressions from other songs
Teeny speedy tambouriney moves the groove along.
Really there is not a lot you can do wrong just go (woah)

Then break it down
Take it easy
Let everyone know how you're feeling
You can ask some friends
Make them help
When the parts you write you can't play yourself

Now you've got a full song
And it's feeling more full than before
You just layer the guitars till you cant fit anymore
Polish up the track so you can go on tour to sing (woah)
Get the band up on the stage, play it live at your local event
Doesn't matter what your age, just lock in till it ends
Crowd participation sing along with your friends they go (woah)
