The Bell Church is a magnificent Buddhist Temple that sits between Baguio City and La Trinidad, Benguet. The Bell Church was founded on August 4, 1960 in Benguet, when the area was still part of Mountain Province by a Chinese immigrants from Canton, China (now Guangzhou) led by Ng Pee. It is an important religious and cultural site for the local Chinese Filipino community and one of the tourist sites of both La Trinidad and the neighboring city of Baguio featuring in local films in the 1970s until the 1990s.

As with most Buddhist temples, it is mostly red with many dragon highlights built into it and a peaceful and serene lotus pond nearby. As you enter, you pass opposing dragons, and you come to the incredible koi pond where many people choose to make a wish to deliver to the koi.

When you enter the main temple, you will see several Buddhist entities, and there will probably be joss sticks burning. While you are inside the temple, please don’t take any pictures out of respect for those praying or worshiping there.
