ANDREA IYAMAH SPRING SUMMER ’22

The Andrea Iyamah Spring-Summer ’22 Collection seeks to embrace the journey to a triumph. Life post 2020 is something no one could accurately predict as it was the year of the ‘unprecedented’. We did not know what would become of a world post pandemic so we stopped trying to predict the future and instead, we focused on healing from what we just went and are still going through.

Popularly known for its healing properties is the Eucalyptus tree. The Andrea Iyamah Eucalyptus leaf print ushers in the spring by featuring resort wear that fully encapsulate the beauty of this print embodied by flowing deep v-neck cover ups and extra wide leg pants that flow in the wind. As the journey progresses from healing to thriving, we see the collection introduce colours such as Vanilla, Pearl white and Mangrove. As a crescendo to the rising of one who not only healed but is thriving, we see the bright sun yellows on silk finish fabrics and light weight chiffons, metallic lilacs on swimwear and the Andrea Iyamah signature leaf motif on peachy tones.

The pandemic made many of us question if we were really living or merely existing. This collection embraces the journey of truly living…THRIVING.
