The Palace is indeed in a state of ruin, with only remnants of its original structure remaining due to a combination of neglect and encroachment. Densely populated settlements and commercial establishments have been built on the palace grounds, obscuring the path and damaging the remaining parts, including parts of the gateway, octagonal towers, and foundation.
