EASY and CHEAP way to reduce gas pressure on the Ruger Mini-30. No $250 adjustable gas block needed.

Easy Mini 30 gas block bushing change. I hadn’t seen anyone make this video yet, so here goes.

The Accuracy Systems bushing kit for the Mini 30 is $29.99, comes with 3 bushings, and all three are WAY smaller than the factory bushing. There are different bushing kits for the Mini 14 on their website. This is obviously WAY cheaper than buying an adjustable gas block.

I’m here swapping the .065 bushing for the .060 bushing in hope of stopping some case neck deformation. If the rifle doesn’t cycle with this bushing, I’ll swap them back out.

You’ll need a 9/64ths allen wrench for the 4 gas block screws I didn’t picture here, and a small punch or skinny screwdriver to pop the FCG out.
