Just a few kilometers away from Bengaluru, farmers are paying the price for a development project by the Bengaluru Development authority (BDA). The notification to develop Shivaram Karanth Layout was first issued in 2008. Over 3000 acres of land is being acquired in 17 villages by the BDA.
