Writer/Director Chinonye Chukwu came back to her Philly roots to screen her film TILL at The Philadelphia Film Festival (Oct 19-30, 2022). Moderated by PFS Artistic Director Michael Lerman.
I (LeAnne Lindsay, Tinsel &Tine Editor) did a little Red Carpet interview with the filmmaker and then the video goes into her extensive and informative Q&A on the making of TILL, which is about the mother Mamie Till-Mobley (Danielle Deadwyler) of lynched 14 year-old Emmett Till, in the 50s, who became instrumental in the Civil Rights Movement.
