The South African chapter of NORML was founded in 2008 and has been involved in cannabis activism in South Africa. We have hosted a number of Global Cannabis Marches since then and also hosted several other events through the years.

NORML supports the right of adults to use cannabis responsibly, whether for medical or personal purposes. All penalties, both civil and criminal, should be eliminated for responsible use, possession and cultivation.
