I was laying down last night thinking about what todays little encouragement would be and as you all know, every time I write one of these it’s what I’m currently struggling with. It’s not a projection of what I think you need, it’s always me speaking to myself like a public journal. I want to encourage you all to not forget to have fun along the journey! To laugh, let go of the pressure! To enjoy the process of whatever it happening in your life. In the same way that people say “being kind is free” it’s the same with having a joyful spirit! It doesn’t cost us anything to live out and it honestly probably hurts us when we aren’t living with joy in our hearts. I mean that. Have you ever experienced being truly happy? Not because you have everything you want, but because you have all that you need? Well in Christ, we have all we need and so now we are playing with house money and GET to walk through life and enjoy our journey as We learn to experience God, love others, and grow in our faith! So, I’ll say it again. Have fun along the journey! Don’t be afraid to press pause and slow down to enjoy yourself where you are instead of always running after the next thing… you’ll end up running away from the same thing that provides you Joy!
