Todays hike starts at the car park in the centre of Edale.
From there we head towards and up Grindsbrook Clough and then along part of the southern edge of Kinder Scout. You can carry on along here but I decided to head a bit more into the wilderness and head in the direction of Kinder Downfall.
From the downfall, I headed south along the western edge of Kinder Scout to the trig point Kinder Low.
I then carried on south toward Jacob's Ladder and followed the Pennine Way back to where I started in Edale.

This route is 16.75km (10.4 miles) and has a total elevation gain of over 600m (2000ft)
