Bill Wisch Slydini Protege Performs Coins Through the Table and Leather Cup and Coins 1978 Video

As I studied with Slydini and learned his famous “Coins Through The Table” routine, I was intrigued that Slydini did not have a five-coin and three-coin version of. With Slydini's approval, I began to create and think through a series of variations utilizing three and five coins. Before I went on tour, I showed them to Slydini and he not only liked them, but sanctioned me to feature them on the tours alongside his original moves and routine. These variations were later featured in my September, 1984 Genii issue entitled, “Bill Wisch- A Special Issue.”

This video shows both my “Leather Cup and Coins” as well as the variations I mentioned above of Slydini's Coins Through the Table.

This video was taken by my friend Pete Petrashek on February 28, 1978. He was well known in the magic community for being childhood best friends with Johnny Carson. He worked at the local Omaha, Nebraska television and radio station WOW for 40 years where he recorded this video in their studio on “U-Matic” tape.
