In this episode our family goes on a family vacation so that Charles can get over his stress from work and enjoy some much needed time with his family. His hope is that it will draw them all closer to one another and they can bond. Unfortunately, Annika has other things on her mind as she cannot bear the thought of being stuck in this beach house for two days with no escape from the family and she is dealing with a ton of anger of the thought of having to suffer this.

As soon as they enter into the beach house she gets angry and she starts stomping around the lot, nothing is making her happy. She refuses to do anything to make her life or her time here enjoyable. Instead she chooses to pick a fight with Charles and she tells him she is miserable. She starts yelling at him about their differences in what they want out of life and then surprises him by telling him that what she really wants is to escape this beach house and their marriage. She wants a divorce!

Charles tries to enjoy the remainder of his time on this vacation with his children but he is enraged that Annika could be so selfish and hurtful, and is also so sad that his family could change so drastically so quickly like it has. He is unsure how he is going to make it as a single father. He talks to his sister and asks her to move back in.

We end this episode by going back home and moving Rebecca back into our home.
