Please remember to subscribe and share so I can continue making videos!

In this video I show how I removed the air intake manifold and replace the spark plugs on my 2018 Chevy Colorado Z71 4WD with the 3.6L V6. The manifold removal is required to get to the bank 2 spark plugs and ignition coil packs. This will also get you easier access to your VVT solenoids, camshaft position sensors, oxygen sensors, and quite a few other things tucked under it and around the engine. I assume this method would be the same for all 2nd gen Colorados and GMC Canyons. Verify application for your vehicle.

Here is the link I mentioned in this video to how I removed the air intake cover if desired:    • 2015-2022 2nd Gen 2018 Chevy Colorado...

Hopefully you find this video helpful!

There are a few misspeaks in here, I fix them in the video, but I make them before I fix them. I’m sorry if there’s any confusion. At one point I keep calling the ignition coil packs solenoids, and another time I am describing the spark plug and say ceramic, but I mean porcelain.

Disclaimer: video is for informational purposes only. The methods and processes I used are not necessarily as outlined or recommended by GM. Always refer to GM/Chevrolet/GMC manuals.
