I don't know how others will relate to it but I am not all plain water person. I just can't drink plain water. So, I always make sure at eat veggies & fruits which have good water content. But as a mom-to-be, I need to intake more water than the average person. This is because water takes on additional roles during pregnancy. For example, water is an essential part of the placenta, which delivers nutrients to your growing baby, and the amniotic sac, which cushions your baby throughout pregnancy.

⚠️ During pregnancy, inadequate fluid intake over longer periods of time can also lead to low amniotic fluid which can lead to serious complications.

🤰According to my Gynaecologist, I should drink atleast 2 litres of water everyday.
Because drinking this much plain water is difficult for me, I make sure to include plenty of hydrating foods in my diet.

1. watermelon : 92% water content
2. coconut water: a glass daily without fail
3. cucumber: 95% water content
4. curd/ buttermilk : 85% water content
5. milk : 80% water content
6. infused water : add fruit or lemon slices to have taste in water
7. soups : any vegetables soup of to your choice.

Its summer so watermelon is easily available to make up my water intake easily but during winter I made sure to drink lots of carrot and beetroot juice. That really helped me not only in water intake but also in maintaining my hemoglobin.

❓How to know you are hydrated?
☑️Generally, if you are rarely feel thirsty and your urine is colorless or light yellow, you’re probably doing a good job at staying hydrated.
