Sally Neiman a student in the training program with NBC News and the New York Film Academy has chosen R.Evolucion Latina and it's story to share the information on Programs, Events and how is affecting the Artistic and Latino Community. With this Sally Dares to go beyond and acomplishes the circle efect as she grows in her own art wile helping others.

Directors Luis Salgado, Michael Balderrama and Gabriela Garcia take us through the Opening Eyes Program (In collaboration with Jaradoa Theater), R.Evolucion Latina's Choir with Master Teacher William Wade, and other events.

R.Evolucion Latina: We are a collective of artists and activists committed to empower the artistic community in order to inspire growth within the Latino Community through collaboration, productions and educational support programs.

Collaboration is a main part of our mission in R.Evolucion Latina and we our proud to share this Blurb of our First Steps in this Project title OPENING EYES. In Collaboration with Jaradoa Theater (APRIL NICKELL), Katies Art Project (A new project by STEPHANIE KLEMONS) and Mercy Center a community center for women and their families located in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx.

We recently launched this new program at the Mercy Center. Through acting and writing sessions, followed by choreography sessions, and a final 5-week collaboration of the two, the children will have the opportunity to create their own show through the development of their own personal stories. The show will be presented to an audience and will then be used as a fund raising performance for the MERCY CENTER and/or a presentation in other schools with the intention of kids inspiring kids. This program is in collaboration with JARADOA THEATER and is also helping one of our own activists, Stephanie Klemmons, to jump-start her own organization. The program started thanks to a donation by Broadway star Karen Olivo who is currently playing Anita in West Side Story.
