Hp reverb g2 initial impressions- error 7-14 on Asus b550 and Asus b350 but works on Asrock B350!

Guy who delivered G2 told me to remove the clip before putting cable in. I was as careful as I could but it still broke. So will use cable tie instead. It is super light and very comfortable - better than odyssey plus,cosmos elite or valve index. Sadly I am getting an error 7-14 with my PC!

HP support told me to try different ports. No luck. No joy with a powered Transcend USB hub either or on my other machine (one is B550 other is B350). Will try a USB 3 add-in card if I can find one tomorrow. Spent all day trying to get it to work :(

update: Ok, got another PC and it is working on an Asrock b350 -clarity is amazing, but FOV could be better. Does not work at all on my Asus b550 and does not work on my Asus B350.

update2: Asus B550 works with an internal PCI-E USB3 addon card.
update3:with latest windows update, front USB ports work with Asus B550, addon card not needed, but Asus B350 still does not work without addon card.
