MK4 GOLF GTI FORGE DIVERTER VALVE INSTALL

In this video I install a Forge 008 recirculation valve to the Mk4 Golf Gti 1.8t Aum engine.

I wanted to install the Forge 008 because it was recommended by a few tuners for mapping as it allows adjustments and is a more reliable part compared to the OEM Bosch valve. I have also been made aware that the standard diverter valve is more than capable of handling the boost pressure of a highly tuned engine but I decided to fit it as personal preference.

It is a really quick and easy install with nice results in terms of sounds and aesthetics.
