The oldest known references to the hurricane cocktail date the drink's Creation back to at least 1938. Ingredients
• Light rum 30ml
• Dark rum 30ml
• Lime juice, freshly squeezed 30ml
• Orange juice, freshly squeezed 30ml
• Passion fruit Juice 15ml
• Sugar Syrup 15ml
• 1 teaspoon grenadine
Garnish:
Orange half-wheel
Cherry
Steps
1. Add the light and dark rums, lime and orange juices, passion fruit puree, simple syrup and grenadine into a shaker with ice and Mix until well-chilled.
2. Strain into a large Hurricane glass over fresh ice.
3. Garnish with an orange half-wheel and a preserved cherry.
