Deleting a profile on Netflix is quick and easy, and it helps keep your account organized if you no longer need certain user profiles. Whether it's a guest profile, an unused kid account, or an extra slot you want to free up, you can remove any profile except the primary account holder’s.

To begin, open the Netflix app or visit [https://www.netflix.com](https://www.netflix.com) in your browser. Make sure you’re on the profile selection screen—the page that appears when you first open the app or sign in, before choosing any specific profile.

On this screen, look for the pencil or “Edit” icon in the top-right corner of the app. Tap or click on this icon to enter the profile management mode. You’ll now see an edit icon over each profile. Select the profile you want to delete.

Once inside the profile settings, scroll to the bottom of the screen where you'll find the red trash can icon labeled “Delete Profile.” Tap on it, confirm your decision when prompted, and the selected profile will be permanently removed from your Netflix account.

Keep in mind that deleting a profile also deletes its viewing history, saved titles, and personalized settings. If you accidentally delete the wrong profile, there is no way to recover it, so be sure you’ve selected the correct one before confirming.
