The center stage add on dies set is a new interactive slimline die set that is intended to be used with the Center Stage dies to create a shadowbox with curtains that pull open. To help round off the scenes, there are some additional sentiments, spotlights, microphone stand, and other accessory dies as well!
This die set is made of high quality 100% carbon steel.


Assembly Tips

1. From heavy weight card stock, cut two pieces of card stock to 8-1/2” x 3-1/2”.
2. Cut window die from the center of one of these panels.
3. From this same panel, use the half circle die to cut an opening from each end. This will give space to grab and pull the mechanism.
4. Cut 2 doors, 2 Stabilizer channels, and 2 scene building arms all from heavy card stock.
5. Fold one door pieces in a z-fold on the scored lines, fold the other in an opposing z-fold.
6. Adhere the folded doors to the solid 8-1/2” x 3-1/2” panel, using the small tabs. The fold should meet in the middle and the small openings in the side panel of the doors should both be near the bottom.
7. Insert the scene building arms tiny the openings on the sides of the doors. To do this fold one end up and wedge it into the opening, then unfold it. Repeat this with all four ends of the arms. There is no need to adhere these pieces down, they need to move freely when the card opens and closes.
8. Adhere the stabilizer channels to the back of the window panel, putting adhesive on the end flaps. You do not want them to show in the half circle cut out, they may show in the window, but will later be covered up by the curtains.
9. Insert the doors into the stabilizer channels to attach the window panel to the card. The interactive element is now done and ready for you to decorate.

Decorating Tips
1. When adhering images to the scene building arms you need to keep them near the center of the arms so they do not block the arms from moving in and out of the opening on the side of the card. They need to move for the card to open and close.
2. If you want to cover the back panel cut a piece of card stock to 3-1/2” x 5-1/8”
3. Use the Center Stage die set and Curtain Call stencil set to dress up the interactive stage. When adding curtains to the front of the card, you will need to cut the sides with the semi-circle die as you did on the window panel. Save the cut out piece and adhere it to the door panel with foam squares, so when the card is closed you see only red curtains. Cutting this will allow you to easily grab the doors and pull them open.
4. You can add a personalized message to the back of this card or adhere it to a slimline card that measures 8-1/2” x 7”, scored at 3-1/2”.
