Fixing the Blender on my Jeep Wrangler TJ so that my Defroster Works Again

Описание к видео Fixing the Blender on my Jeep Wrangler TJ so that my Defroster Works Again

I’ve owned this Jeep TJ for nearly a year and the airflow when the a/c is set to “defrost” has never worked right. It turns out the “Defrost/Demist Door Actuator Lever” was broken and needed to be replaced. This is a WAY simpler project than I’d originally feared – removal of the a/c box is NOT required!

This video shows you how I replaced the part and which part to purchase.
Be sure to get the part number shown below.

Part (Amazon Affiliate Link):
• Omix-Ada 17910.01 HVAC Door Lever (https://amzn.to/33uF6n0) [used with Defrost/Demist Door]

Part number 17910.02 is NOT what you need in this case. That particular part will work for the “Panel Door Actuator” – the middle actuator when you’re looking at the three actuators in the Jeep.

Project TJ is the chronicling of working on my 1997 Jeep Wrangler. It's the SE version of a TJ with a 2.5L four cylinder and a standard transmission. At the time of making this video, the Jeep had ~205,500 miles on it.
