You require a WPC certificate to import or manufacture wireless products in India.
Every wireless product carries with itself several risks. The quality of its production might be bad, or worse, the frequency it works at might be intrusive.

To prevent such occurrences, the Department of Telecommunication introduced Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing. It introduced the WPC license, also known as the ETA certificate, and made it mandatory for the importers and producers of wireless products.

As per the rules,, if a wireless product is working within delicensed ban, it will require a WPC ETA certificate. Thus, you'd need a WPC certificate for Bluetooth, a wifi and other products that work within de licensed frequency bands.
