Ala Buisir is a 29-year-old photographer, activist, and video journalist. Born in Ireland with Libyan roots, her work documents the social and political tension around us today. Her aim is to raise awareness by presenting events through different perspectives, in the hope that she may also bring about positive change. She is also the co-founder Gorm Media, a multi-media platform for marginal communities in Ireland. Ala reflects on her faith and the importance of Ramadan in her life.
