In Ramban today,a Mahila Disaster Management, Awareness Programme- 'Mahila Sabha',was organized by the District Administration in collaboration with Mahila Disaster Management Committee,Ramban & Block Development Office,Ramban.


This one day training programme was  presided by the Deputy Commissioner, Mohammed Alyas Khan in presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Varun Jeet Singh Charak, Chairperson,Mahila Disaster Management Committee(MDMC),Ramban, Tehsildar, Ramban,Dr.Reejuta Mahajan and Member,MDMC,BDO,Shalini Chandel.


During the training the resource persons of Fire & Emergency Service and SDRF demonstrated the women employees of various departments to how to save themselves and others from fainting, suffocation,snake bite,injury,fire incident and choking and other man made or natural disasters.
