Humanism
Humanism was the liberal intellectual movement which emphasized the study of human values. Humanism is a term generally applied to the predominant social philosophy and intellectual literary currents of the period from 1400 to 1650. Humanism intensifies the assertion of personal independence and individual expression. Zeal for the classics was the result as well as the cause for growing secular life. Expansion of trade, growth of prosperity widened the social contacts which resulted in worldly pleasure.
The humanists welcomed classical writers who revealed similar social values and secular attitude. For the humanists beauty and intellectuality were the important things. For the humans an ideal life was no more religious rather they preferred life at its full. The humanists wanted the people to participate in each and every aspect of life. Scholars from different parts of Europe frequently visited Italy in order to share the ancient literature.
We have two groups of humanists: Minor and Major humanists

Major Humanists: 1- Desiderius Erasmus 2- Thomas Moore 3- Niccolo Machiavelli 4- Leonardo Da Vinci
