Скачать или смотреть Russian DefMin reveals footage of Uragan multiple launch rocket system in combat operation

The Russian Defence Ministry on Friday released footage of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the Central military district. According to the MoD, the mission has been a part of Russia's military offensive in Ukraine. The date and place of filming were not disclosed.

The footage shows the crews of military vehicles marching to firing positions and deploying MLRS ahead of performing combat work.

The Ministry reported that the combat crews ensured 'a fire damage to the manpower accumulation and artillery groups of Ukrainian nationalists.'

Unmanned aviation confirmed the successful implementation of fire mission. The Ukrainian side has not yet officially commented on the Russian Defence Ministry report.

However, Pavel Kirilenko, Governor of the Donetsk regional administration, said on Thursday that the Russian Armed Forces shelled the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut with Uragan MLRS.

Moscow launched its military offensive in Ukraine in late February after recognising the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics' independence (DPR and LPR).

Kiev has denounced the Russian action, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky imposing martial law throughout the country. During peace talks, Russia has called for Ukraine to declare itself officially neutral and provide guarantees that it will never join NATO.
