Science:
Silhouette Soft® is a thread lift treatment that may be a relatively safe temporary alternative to surgical repositioning of face and neck. These threads are made from PLA (polylactic acid). This polymer is also used to make sutures and pins that are employed in bone fracture treatment.
Radiesse® is composed of small calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a soft gel matrix.
Benefits: Non-surgical face lift treatments are effective in the mid and lower face, for early signs of aging (not very lax skin or sagging - these will require surgery). Silhouette Soft lift and Radiesse can be used to gently elevate and define the cheeks, lower jaw, as well as the neck. Finer threads are used for upper face treatment.
Result: noticeably less appearance of jowls and a lot less sagging.
