The much awaited Annual sports day was held on Saturday, 21st December [Class 1st to 5th] and 22nd December [Class 6th to 12th]. Atmiyans had shown great zeal, enthusiasm and excitements. The theme was befitted with the thought to spread feeling of brotherhood at GLOBAL LEVEL. The theme of this annual sports day “VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBKAM” itself is a Sanskrit word which depicts the idea of universal family. It resembles the idea of Ram Rajya and Kingdom of God.

The event was graced with the presence of Smt. Maltiben Maheshwari (M.L.A.,Gandhidham), Shree Kanjibhai Bharya, (President, Gandhidham Nagarpalika), Shree Puneet Dudhrejia (President, Gandhidham city ,BJP) and advocate Shree Madhukant Shah (Advocate and Notary Gandhidham).

On the second day of it was filled with the greater passion and energy. Atmiyans exhibited exorbitant amount of perseverance and commitment on the ground in the presence of Shree Vinodbhai Chavda (M.P., Kutch), Shree Virendrasinh Jadeja (M.L.A., Mandvi –Mundra), Shree Punit Dudhrejia (President, Gandhidham City, BJP), Shree Vidyut Buch (Advocate and tax consultant). Besides these invited guests, Mr.Vinod Chavda- Chairman of the School, Mr. Hemant Kachhadiya-Managing Trustee, Trustee Members - Mrs. Maya Chavda, Mrs. Angeera Kachhadiya, Mr. Kalpesh Bhardra and Mrs. Manju Bhadra, Principal Mr. Scaria Thomas and all section co-ordinators were also present.

The programme commenced with the Lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guests along with other honourable guests of honour which was followed by a melodious welcome song. A beautiful opening dance was performed by the students to give a Tribute to Mother Saraswati – The Goddess of knowledge. Thereafter, the Principal Mr. Scaria Thomas Presented the School Annual Day Report involving the achievements of Co- Curricular Activities as well as Academic performance of the
year 2018-19.

The most Awaited Programme based on the theme “VASUDHAIV KUTUMBKAM’ started with scintillating dances to showcase the AMALGAMATION OF GLOBAL CULTURAL EVENTS.
The programmes were followed by the Prize Distribution ceremony where Smt. Maltiben Maheshwari (M.L.A.,Gandhidham), and other Dignitaries distributed the prizes and certificates to Academic Toppers and the Best Atmiyans for the Academic Year 2018-19.

The Honourable Chief Guest Shree Vinodbhai Chavda (M.P., Kutch), addressed the audience and said that the students should not only be imparted excellent education but they should also be involved in sports and games. He emphasized on famous saying “A healthy mind lives in a healthy body” and a healthy body is generated by being part of sports and games.. He also lauded the Atmiya Vidyapeeth, Management, staff for grooming the students to have the Indian culture and global perception in their learning and understanding.

The Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Madhuri Devnani (Secondary and Higher secondary co-ordinator). The programme was an amalgamation of various hues and the students spread the importance of humanity and a global belonging through the feeling of universal fraternity and brotherhood. It became an annual family reunion- A gathering point of all to enjoy the children’s latent talents.
