From afternoon into the evening, this video showcases the changing light. I think the pets may seek out locations to make their "J" (and thus, chrysalis) where there is strong afternoon light, as perhaps this additional warmth helps "ripen" the chrysalis? Or maybe I'm just inventing ideas, I ain't no science-person.

Regardless, this video shows the changing light of the afternoon well, starting with soft green filtered light, moving to a very intense yellow light that, while harsh, is also bright enough to show excellent detail on the pet's face and hide while the direct sunbeam passes over them. Finally, all the sunbeams of the day have gone around the corner of our celestial home, and darkness slowly descends over our scene,

Through it all, petite pet is bobbing away, and will continue to throughout the night. Tomorrow will be their day for sure!
