Baltimore is one of the greatest cities on the planet right now. It's an amazing city and Central Baltimore's absolutely the core of that.
[bugle sounds off]
[crowd cheers]
[female student] I really like Baltimore. It's really friendly, all the people I've met. Especially with so many colleges in the area, there's always young people around.

There's still kind of a close-knit sense of community but within that, still the richness of, you know, urbanite living. When I bike in to campus it's nice to see people just out and about, sitting outside and just having a good time.
[students laughing]
[male artist] The music scene here is amazing, it's theater, it's comedy,

…it's performance, it's art, and it's all very much unique and happening only in Baltimore.
[female student] There are a lot of different neighborhoods and I think there's something for everyone here, whether you're into music or like live entertainment, you're a foodie.

I think the restaurant scene in Central Baltimore is getting better all the time. It's definitely a place where you can go to get variety and affordable food. And really food that is made by the hand of a small business owner you can really tell.
[energetic music]
[female business owner] It's a really energetic neighborhood but then also to be like central to a city and still have this much green that's all around us...

…it's awesome.
[female student] The neighborhood is really growing, there's Station North, Charles Village, Remington.
Come to Remington!
[female student] Hopkins students are really a part of it because we're here and it's home!
