How We're Transforming a French Barn into Dream Holiday Gîtes!

We're diving deeper into our exciting barn conversion project! Renovating one of the barns on our beautiful French property into holiday rental gîtes is giving us a fresh dose of energy and inspiration. From clearing out a rotten old floor to removing a stone wall (and finding a perfect spot to store all those stones!), every step is bringing us closer to our dream.

We also tackled a critical challenge: reinforcing a major beam that was precariously supported by the previous owner’s questionable handiwork. But no worries, we’ve got it under control. On top of all that, we finally treated ourselves to a new bed (goodbye, mattresses on the floor!) and added another dry hedge to beautiful driveway.
