Departing from their natal pride in late 2021 to shield their 2019-born subadults from the Plainscamp males, Ridge Nose and Amber formed the Nkuhuma Breakaway pride, establishing their territory in the Northern reaches of Singita.

Tragically, both sisters met their fate in a fight with their neighboring pride, the Mangheni. This video serves as a tribute, celebrating their lives and the indelible mark they left behind.
